Snow Shoes Now Up at Mackinaw Outfitters

Comfort Suites Indoor Waterpark

We went last Sunday and were the only people there. A lot of hotels include free passes to this. A cool thing about the waterpark is that the pool and hot tub are side by side and almost the same size. This place could be enjoyed both crowded and empty.

The Bean Counter Internet Cafe is Still Open

Many businesses are prepping to shut down for the season. Hopefully this one stays open for a little while longer. It's a bit expensive, but well worth it.

The Crossings

Aqua Grand Mackinaw Inn

I took these from the balcony. The hotel is located on S Huron Ave (23). My brother-in-law paid about $58 per night. Pool (open till 10pm) and hot breakfast included.

Parade of Trucks

These pics from the Truck Parade didn't come out as well as I'd hoped due to the darkness.

Tractor Parade

I woke up late this morning, thinking that I had missed the tractor parade. But when I stepped outside on my balcony, it was going on right in front of me. The parade started in Mackinaw, crossed the bridge, and ended in St. Ignace. I'm not sure where it started, but I do know that they went west on Central Ave, turned left on Hiawatha, then turned left on Pond St and headed straight back into town.

All this time I've been calling it "That park by the fort"

The Weather Channel was right!

Went for an evening bike ride despite the high winds. It was cool out on our balcony so I had an idea of what the ride would be like. It started out okay, but the dark clouds that began moving over the bridge changed from east to south.
